Cookie Policy

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored by your device when you visit a website. Cookies of the so-called “third parties”, on the other hand, are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. Indeed, on each site, there may be elements (images, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) which reside on servers other than that of the site visited. We use cookies to improve the user experience and speed up navigation, as well as to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site.

Types of cookies

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).

They are not used for any other purpose and are normally installed directly by the website owner or manager. The technical cookies collected and processed on the Site can be divided into: navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the site (allowing, for example, to consult a recipe); functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (eg language, ingredients selected from the shopping list) in order to improve the service provided. The prior consent of users is not required for the installation of these cookies.

Third-party cookies

By visiting this site, you may receive cookies from sites managed by third parties. An example is the presence of social plugins for Facebook, Instagram and Google+, or embedded (integrated) multimedia content display systems such as YouTube and Vimeo. These are parts generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the web page of the host site visited.

The presence of these plugins implies the transmission of cookies from and to all sites managed by third parties. Iris-Mec srl is not able to access these cookies, just as third parties cannot access the cookies of Iris-Mec srl. The management of information collected by third parties is governed by the relevant information to which reference is made. For more transparency and comfort, you can consult the privacy policy and the methods of managing third-party cookies (including in the case of cookies collected via social network plugins) at the following links:
