Key features
EV-COA is a fire blanket designed to make electric vehicles safe, particularly in the event of lithium-ion battery fires. Made of fibreglass with a high-density silicone coating, it withstands up to 1,000°C continuous exposure and 1,600°C peak.
It enables rapid containment and isolation of the fire, reducing the spread of flames, heat and toxic smoke. Also suitable for conventional vehicles, it is an effective solution for emergency management in ELV treatment facilities and ELV treatment centres.
